Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847, in Edinburgh, Scotland. His education was received through numerous experiments in sound and of improving his father’s work on Visible Speech for deaf people. Bell worked with Thomas Watson on the design of the first practical telephone. Bell held 18 patents in his name and 12 that he shared with collaborators. Alexander Graham Bell grew up in Scotland; He was a scientist, inventor, engineer and innovator who is credited with inventing the first telephone. He ended up immigrating to the United States. He came to the United States in 1874. He died on August 2, 1922, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
